Favorite SV season

Choose your favorite season and say why!

Season 5 is the best... it has the best Martha's scence... (intead she's wonderful in every scene she plays ) But it has episodes like Mortal, Solitude, Vengeance... and of course... the end of Monathan on Reckoning... but also the fantastic begining of Mionel!!!! With episodes like Void, Mercy!!!! or Vessel... .. . with their lovely scence... but.. BTW... the best scene of smallville is in the episode Rage... and the worst is in episode Phantom... when Martha left us forever

I, for first, think that season 5 had a wonderful plot, one of the best, really!
Unfortunately I can't say that season 5 was the best season for Lionel, except Mionel, so I had to choose season 3, the best season so far for my Luthors.
I, too, love the Rage scene, of course...the almost kiss scene totally took my breath away!
And you know what I think? All right, they didn't really kiss, but that stares and that lightly tension was talking more about their feeling than actually sometimes a real kiss could do... I don't know if I explained well my POV. John and Annette were EXCELLENT in that scene! Terrific scene!
The worst SV episode... After all I liked Phantom, except for my Mionel dreams broken... so I think the worst SV episodes were in season 4, those about Clark and football (Recruit and so on...)... they were so boring that I wasn't able to keep on looking at the screen. lol
I hated Descent...well I know that soon or late Lionel had to die because of Lex, but not in the first five minutes before the opening theme! That was bad... so bad!

Season 6 and 5 are the best for the Mionel, but I loved season 8 too...
Just for RAGE I voted for the 6th season ^^

I like Season 4 because in the episode Crusade, Martha got to save the day for once (plus Annette had the best scenes ever) and Spirit....Martha was great because she was possessed by Dawn Stiles, and when she was, she had some of the best lines!!
I hated season 5's Reckoning.....well....Jonathan died, and I cried along with Martha and I liked Mercy for Mionel.
And I also hated the very last season 6 episode Phantom.....becuase Annette left the show....forever!! and I absolutely cried my eyes out when that happened.

Hi!... can I say something... I've just seen the final results after the four of as have voted... and... well... I thing that we've cordinated ourselves to vote the best seasons for Martha and then for Mionel... don't you think so? Because if I could chose more than one... this four would be the first on my list... .. .

I had to pick Season 5 for the episode Mercy. It was a great Lionel piece that made me fully believe that he was a redeemed character. (Personally, I think he didn't know that the gun wasn't loaded & he was willing to sacrifice himself to save the woman he loved & to help ensure Clark would become the man he needed to be by keeping his mother alive as an active role model.)
