that can be only my opinion but the episode was really horrible, the way Lionel die and all... I didn't like it at all! Really awful!!!

And anyway this makes no sense! How could it be? Many sites tell that there will be still John Glover in season 8!

Remember he have a connection with Jor-EL, Maybe he'll can resuscitate, with the kryptonian' power ?
I know it's ridiculous but, it's Smallville !

I knew Lionel was going to die, but I couldn't belive it. Instead of this, I'm shure he's not dead... when he was falling down, he close his eyes and then he opened them again... I think... I HOPE... that means he's alive yet... He can't die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He can't leave Martha without giving her THE KISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I REALLY hope so, but I read that who died in Descent is dead for real, so it's supposed he can't resuscitate... I read also that "...John Glover, who plays Lionel Luthor. Apparently he has announced some big career changes for 2007/2008 that don't leave much room for a Smallville stint." I don't know what to think... I only know that without him SMALLVILLE does not exist!!!

i can't believe he's dead! and of course they're probably not going to have martha coming back for a funeral or something, or telling how she really feels.
but hopefully those big career plans he has are something we can all see.

Je n`ai pas vu cette episode, dommage, mais j`ai beaucoup lu de ca! Oui, je suis d`accord que la mort de Lionel c`est une perte irreparable ...mais en fait, qui a dit, que Martha l` pardonnerait l`enlevement de Clark?! J`y crois a peine!

I haven't seen this scene but read a lot about it. Lionel's death is of course a great tragedy. But in reality who said that Martha would forgive him for kidnapping Clark! It is hard to believe.

Eh, je sais bie que la langue de Molière est particulièrement magnifique (la modestie française est bien connue) mais malheureusement nous ne sommes pas qu'entre Frenchies ici, donc il vaudrait mieux t'exprimer dans celle de Shakespeare (aka le célèbre secoueur de poires),par égard pour nos amis américains, espagnoles et je ne sais quoi d'autre.

This series is really going...I don' know what, but basically it's bad. I don't watch it anymore since Martha has gone. And I've always thought that most of the events were non-sense...The point is that I think is really dead, because they have already done the I-will-survive trick several times. Crap.

C`est le cas Je parle francais, mais pas l`anglais!

Tu peux être fière, je connais peu de gens qui parle aussi bien français que toi (je suppose que tu parles même mieux qu'un certain nombre de français... ). On m'avait déjà dit que les Russes parlaient très bien français, mais je n'avais jamais pu vérifié. C'est une chance pour moi, j'ai des origines mais je ne parle pas la langue, donc si jamais je veux y retourner un jour...

Par contre ça peut être assez handicapant de ne pas parler anglais...

Mais j`en suis Et puis après 5 ans d `étude à l` Université с `serait un opprobre de ne pas parler plus ou moins bien, pas parfait, dommage
Quant à l` anglais, oui с` est très incommode en effet, mais je me débrouille pas mal. Je comprends beaucoup tout de meme et yes, i can write english, but very bad
